Byron Killian

Byron KillianByron Killian came to earth on a Sunday morning, Sept 9th, 1973. He always joked he was “hatched”. His generous nature was evident from a very early age and was a trait that continued throughout his entire life. From his deep desire to help people he loved, to his adoration for animals, he gave his all to those he loved.
Having friends from all walks of life, he did not judge another’s struggle. From his raunchy sense of humor to his massive vocabulary he was a complicated person and yet somehow, very simply, all heart. He worked hard his entire life, never being handed a thing. He loved football, cursing, foul comedy, concerts, video games,  books, cooking, motorcycles, roofing and most of all his family and children.
Byron shed his earthly body Jan 10th, 2023.  It is impossible to sum up a human being in a couple of paragraphs. To so many of us, he was our sunshine and life has been terribly dimmed by his unexpected passing. The void he leaves behind is immeasurable. We ‘ve laughed, loved, fought, cried and worked together. And we know in the days, months and years to come there will be countless ways in which we will miss and remember him.  Now he is in heaven watching football with his Grandfather, Rankin and there will be a few choice curse words flying about. We know we will be together again. Until that day comes, we will strive to have the compassion for others that he always did and live with an open heart.
